SOUR CREAM COFFEE CAKE
INGREDIENTS:
1/4 LB. BUTTER ( 1 STRIP) NO SUBS!!!
1 CUP SUGAR
1 TSP. VANILLA, BAKING POWDER, SODA&1/2 TSP. SALT
2 EGGS
1 CUP SOUR CREAM
2 CUPS FLOUR
TOPPING:
1/4 CUP SUGAR, 1 TSP. CINAMMON, 1 CUP CHOPPED WALNUTS
DIRECTIONS:
CREAM BUTTER, ADD SUGAR AND EGGS, BEAT WELL
ADD SOUR CREAM AND VANILLA
ADD SIFTED DRY INGREDIENTS
PUT HALF OF BATTER IN GREASED TUBE PAN.
SPRINKLE 3/4 CUP OF TOPPING
ADD REST OF BATTERAND SPRINKLE WITH REMAINING TOPPING.
BAKE 350 FOR 45 MIN. DO NOT OPEN DOOR UNTIL 45 MINUTES ARE UP.
FREEZES WELL.
